Sunday feelings

Can’t hang on

Minutes fly by

In rapid fire succession

If only there were

Magic words to

Slow and soften

The minutes quickly passing

Monday’s follow

A nagging reminder

That time waits for no man

Even on Sunday

    Touche... Time passes no matter how hard we try to stop it. The Sunday dread of a week's new start can ruin the whole day.

    Indeed it does not. In my young adulthood, I'd suffer such depression on Sunday evening, knowing the long week that lay ahead! Now I embrace it all!

    Good read, good write ... but I wish it were not so for you. About Sundays I mean. I relish a good old lazy Sunday. Haven't had one in a month as June is Opera month but next Sunday, it will be lazy and here's hoping that yours is too.

    I work retail part-time; I understand the dread, but for me, I dread the weekend! Friday to Sunday are usually my worst, busiest days.
