Do Over

Do Over
By John R. Greenwood
The
realization
comes slowly    over      time
that tomorrow
Is already gone
Today happened a long time ago
Yesterday
had I known
It really wouldn’t have mattered

  1. John,

I like these words very much indeed. A deep introspection, of reality. Sometimes though, we do want to dream on and have time continue, or revert back.

    Best wishes, Eileen

  5. See what you think about this one. "When your past controls your present, what does that say about your future?" Wrote that one a few years ago.

  7. @ Rodney, "Exactly"
It was fun to see the interpretations of my post. The piece was trying to say, I have no regrets because every decision I've made in my life I made for what I felt was the right reason at the time. Because I am a slow learner and a poor listener those choices were usually at the other end of the porch. I can't change a thing - nor do I think I would if I could (?)
Thanks to all who pass this way.
