On February 23rd, The Writer’s Project at SUNY Adirondack kicked off their 2012 Spring Series with a poetry reading by Author David Budbill at the Visual Arts Gallery in Dearlove Hall. David’s reading was in conjunction with his wife, artist Lois Eby’s art exhibit. The couple have been married 45 years. My goal here was to capture and share the special evening in words and photographs.

Intriguing - and rather heart-lifting. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, words and photos - full of warmth, as always. Lovely to know such good things are going on somewhere on the planet:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sherry Blue Sky and Dave King. Every day a new discovery. I had never heard of David Budbill's work. I now have four books of reading. So far "Judevine" is mighty fine...

ReplyDeleteSometimes Artists, and that includes people who feel deeply enough to absorb any kind of beauty, can transfer their sense of that beautiful time to people. You have narrated an evening with that much colour.Thank you.The reader can fully see it through your eyes. :)
