Alive at Five

Alive at Five
By John R. Greenwood

5am
Notes flow soft through musty cellar air
Weights clink to the swing of Rhythm & Blues
Heart rate attempts to keep pace
Arteries full
Blood races
I swear I saw a spider swing to-and-fro

  1. Hm, I haven't seen you in a while. This is a breath of fresh ... or musty (depending upon how you look at it) morning air. 5 is too early for me. Night Owl. Love your "about me."

  2. OR, glad you stopped by.
