hands out
always to give
never to receive
your lives touch
us
who follow along
a love drenched path lined with Roses and Rockys
kindness filled bowls placed daily
on the stoop
to nourish
replenish
then tomorrow
again
we arrive hungry
knowing those hearts
a pair
beat all diamonds
a man might gather
